Executive - Tax
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and verify tax computations and statutory payments/Refunds under (IT,VAT,SSCL,STAMP DUTY and other applicable taxes) for assigned Group companies.
Ensure timely and accurate Tax return filings, in compliance with Inland Revenue Department (IRD) regulations.
Liaise with the Inland Revenue Department to resolve tax-related queries and support tax assessments when required.
Prepare quarterly tax compliance reports for Group companies and monitor statutory compliance.
Assist in developing and implementing Group tax planning initiatives to maximize tax efficiencies.
Conduct tax compliance reviews and audits across Group companies.
Analyze IRD assessments and assist in preparing appeals where necessary.
Person’s Profile
Bachelor’s Degree specializing in Accounting/Finance from a recognized University
Full / Part qualification in CASL/ CIMA/ACCA/ AAT is a definite advantage
Minimum 2+ experience in All kinds of Tax handling and proper communication with IRD.
Exposure to SAP would be a definite advantage
An analytical mindset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in both team-oriented and self-directed environment.
