Summary
Oversee container slot allocation, pricing, and yield optimization for COC cargo on trade lanes, coordinating with logistics teams to maximize profitability and reduce demurrage costs.
- Manage daily slot allocation and volume forecasting for COC cargo on assigned trade lanes.
- Optimize container yield margins by aligning freight pricing with equipment availability.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to balance empty COC inventory toward high-yield zones.
- Review regional Demurrage & Detention (D&D) data to optimize box turnaround cycles.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, International Trade, or Business.
- 3+ years of experience in a Trade Department or Trade Lane Management role at a shipping line.
- Direct expertise in COC pricing, capacity control, and liner profitability metrics
