Executive Transaction Manager & VP, Investment Development & Execution

About the Role

We are a premier specialist private investment and deal-making firm focused on acquiring and developing infrastructure and real assets across Africa, spanning Natural Resources, Digital Infrastructure, Utilities, Transport Infrastructure, Heavy and Commodity Industrials, and Real Estate. We are seeking an accomplished, execution-driven Executive Transaction Manager & Vice President to act as an independent project lead and portfolio manager for major investment opportunities — owning the entire lifecycle of assigned deals from executive approval through financial close.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and accelerate complex infrastructure and real asset transactions from research and development to financial close.
• Oversee rigorous financial modeling, valuations, downside protections, and optimal deal structuring targeting high IRR and robust equity returns.
• Direct multi-disciplinary due diligence workstreams (financial, legal, technical, commercial) to ensure zero-surprise execution and strict risk mitigation.
• Coordinate capital-raising processes, build data rooms, and prepare institutional investment memos, pitch decks, and term sheets.
• Manage external consultants, legal counsel, and financial advisors while building strategic partnerships across banking and finance institutions.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive investment experience in Private Equity, M&A, Dealmaking, Project & Structured Finance, or Infrastructure & Real Assets Investments.
• Proven track record of independently managing and closing full transaction cycles in infrastructure and real assets.
• Exceptional technical command of financial modeling, valuation, term sheet preparation, and complex multi-party deal structures.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory, legal, and governance frameworks within African investment landscapes.
