Summary
Oversee pharmaceutical manufacturing utility systems, ensuring compliance, safety, and efficiency through monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
The role supports engineering operations across the organization with responsibility for utility systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The role ensures quality, safety, reliability, cost, timeliness, and performance standards are met through effective operation, monitoring, testing, and routine maintenance of utility infrastructure. It interprets engineering plans, drawings, layouts, and specifications, supports analysis of quality and safety test results, and assists in ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory standards. The position contributes to technical, functional, cost, and schedule targets, supports validation and audit readiness, and participates in continuous improvement and energy efficiency initiatives within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions:
- Operate and monitor utility systems supporting production operations
- Execute preventive and routine utility maintenance activities
- Assist in utility troubleshooting and performance monitoring
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings, layouts, and P&IDs
- Monitor utility parameters and operating conditions
- Collect and analyze utility performance and operational data
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and operational records
- Support qualification, validation, and audit readiness activities
- Coordinate with internal teams and support vendor execution
- Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
Additional Responsibilities: Education:
- Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) B.Tech - Required
- Master Degree (MS/MA) M.Tech - Preferred
- 5 years or more in 5 - 8 Years
