Expat Spa Manager (South African, Philippine, & Other nationals)

As Spa Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a Beauty Residence to ensure
exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and sustained profitability. This role is
responsible for implementing business strategies, managing a high-performing team, innovating
services, and maintaining the spa’s environment to the highest standards. The role also involves
collaboration with other subsidiaries to drive business growth and brand alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
Oversee all daily operations and ensure efficient workflow across departments.
Develop and implement SOPs to maintain consistent service quality.
Track KPIs and operational metrics; take corrective action where needed.
Sales & Promotions
Lead the development and execution of promotional activities to increase revenue.
Collaborate with Marketing to run campaigns and track sales performance.
Analyze service and product sales data to optimize pricing and offerings.
Customer Experience
Maintain a customer satisfaction rating of 90% or above.
Resolve client concerns within 24 hours to ensure retention.
Develop service protocols and ensure all staff adhere to customer service standards.
Innovation & Service Development
Introduce new services or trends every 6 months to remain competitive.
Update the spa menu based on customer preferences and market research.
Monitor service uptake and adjust offerings accordingly.
Team Leadership
Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise all spa staff.
Conduct quarterly performance evaluations and initiate development plans.
Foster a positive, respectful, and performance-oriented culture.
Inventory & Supplies
Monitor inventory usage and reduce wastage by 10% year-on-year.
Ensure timely procurement and stock levels to prevent disruption.
Implement stock control systems and monthly audits.
Facility Standards & Cleanliness
Ensure spa meets hygiene, cleanliness, and ambiance standards.
Conduct weekly walkthroughs and ensure compliance with checklists.
Supervise facility maintenance schedules and upgrades.
Liaison & Business Growth
Work closely with the management and sister businesses to identify growth opportunities.
Drive collaborative initiatives and cross-promotions.
Attend monthly leadership meetings and provide performance updates.JOB DESCRIPTION- SPA MANAGER
Financial Oversight
Prepare and manage the annual budget; monitor monthly financials.
Improve profitability by controlling operational costs.
Achieve minimum 20% profit margin and maintain within 5% of budget variances
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all spa activities comply with health, labor, and safety regulations.
Conduct safety drills and refresher training every quarter.
Maintain updated records for all compliance documentation.
Reporting
Provide timely and accurate reports on operational, financial, and customer-related metrics.
Present performance highlights and gaps to senior management.
Recommend data-driven decisions to improve overall performance.
Other Duties
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and competitors.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support spa goals.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Spa Management,Diploma or
related field.
Additional certifications in Spa Operations, Beauty Therapy, or Wellness Management are a plus.
Minimum 4–6 years of progressive experience in spa, salon, or wellness center operations.
At least 3years in a supervisory or management role.
Proven experience in managing teams, budgets, and customer service delivery.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
Sales and business development acumen.
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
Proficient in spa management software, MS Office, and basic financial reporting.
Knowledge of local health and safety regulations applicable to
