Kitchen Expediter

Bethesda Country Club is seeking a skilled, organized, and team-oriented Kitchen Expediter to join our culinary team. This is a key position responsible for ensuring seamless communication between the front and back of the house while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary communication link between the culinary and service teams during meal service.
• Coordinate ticket flow and prioritize orders to ensure accurate, timely execution.
• Perform final quality checks to ensure every dish meets club standards for presentation, accuracy, and completeness.
• Maintain efficient pacing during high-volume service periods while supporting a smooth kitchen workflow.
• Communicate clearly with chefs, line cooks, and servers to ensure exceptional service.
• Keep the expo station organized, clean, and operating efficiently.
• Support the culinary team in delivering a consistently outstanding dining experience for our members and guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Expediter, Line Cook, or in a similar role within a high-volume restaurant or club environment.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food service timing, and ticket management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and efficient under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
