Financial Accountant

We're looking for a proactive Accountant to join our Expense Accounting team and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis and strong business partnering support. Based in our Kew Office, this permanent full-time opportunity offers exposure across a large, complex organisation and the chance to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What will I be doing?
Reporting to the Expense Accounting Lead, you will:

Deliver month-end accounting and reporting activities in line with corporate deadlines
Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls
Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities
Partner with stakeholders across the business, particularly marketing teams, to provide financial guidance and support
Assist with audit requirements and compliance obligations
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the finance function
Provide clear and meaningful financial insights to support business decision-making

What experience do I have?
You will bring:

Previous experience in an accounting or finance role
A degree in Accounting or Finance
CA/CPA qualification (or currently working towards completion)
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
A proactive, continuous improvement mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
