Job Summary

Clay County Medical Center is currently seeking an experienced, patient-centered Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for a PRN position to assist during periods of high census or when full-time staff are unavailable. This role supports high-quality patient care in a hospital and/or emergeny department setting and works closely with nursing and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas CNA certification in good standing

• Eligible to work as a CNA in the state of Kansas

• Minimum of 1 year hospital and/or emergency department experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living

• Support nursing staff with patient care tasks

• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Post-offer physical examination

• Urine drug screen

• Background check
