Total Comfort Group is a growing commercial HVAC and mechanical services company serving customers throughout the Hudson Valley. We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team in the Poughkeepsie area.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment tune-ups
- Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, package units, heat pumps, air handlers, exhaust and ventilation systems
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, refrigerant, and control system issues
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Perform equipment startups, testing, and commissioning
- Communicate repair recommendations and maintenance findings to customers
- Complete service reports and work documentation accurately and on time
- Follow company safety policies and industry regulations
- Participate in an on-call rotation as required
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
- EPA Universal Certification
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience servicing commercial HVAC equipment, including RTUs, split systems, package units, heat pumps, and air handlers
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites throughout the service area as needed
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
Ideal Candidate
The ideal technician has hands-on experience servicing commercial HVAC systems from 1 to 50 tons, can independently diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues, and is committed to providing safe, professional, and customer-focused service.
