Garden Position

Reports to Fertigation Supervisor

The Fertigation Technician will work with the Cultivation Team on a variety of projects and tasks throughout multiple areas in the garden to ensure the best possible products for our patients. This position REQUIRES PM work (7:00am-5:30pm (4x10) 7:00am-3:30pm (5x8)). Candidates must have good reliability and the ability to work with limited oversight.

General Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Responsible for helping the Cultivation Team production demands and maintain quality expectations.
  • Duties included, but are not limited to fertigation, plant maintenance, cleaning grow and common areas, trimming, IPM, and packaging plant products.
  • Communicate with Team Leads/Managers and aids in other areas when not working with required daily tasks.
  • Maintain personal cleanliness and PPE throughout the cultivation process.
  • Maintain best agricultural practices.
  • Maintain accurate records, inventories, and data as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as required.
  • Follow all facility protocols.

Technician Specific Tasks

  • Ensure plant health and safety by monitoring room environments, plant nutrition and fertigation, light schedules, and pest management.
  • Works with Rhythm Fertigation equipment.
  • Oversee the fertigation of the garden.
  • Batching of stock tanks.
  • Keeping a clean working area and garden.
  • Oversees building maintenance software.
  • Aids in small Maintenance tasks.
  • Treats rooms with required pesticides.
  • Scouts and identifies issues and troubleshoots accordingly.
  • Collects data throughout the garden with the fertigation system and IPM.

  • Fertigation Experience
  • IPM Experience
  • Able to work long hours.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Capable of working in dark or bright environments.
  • Able to work in low oxygen areas.
  • Capable of working with or around caustic and potentially harmful chemicals.
  • Understands compliance regulations and adheres to SOPs for specialized areas.
