About the role We are looking for an experienced Lead or Senior Lead HR Legal Partner to join our newly established Strategy, People & Organisation (SPO) function. The role level will be determined during the recruitment process based on your qualifications, experience, and demonstrated capabilities. In SPO, we work to build a sustainable and high-performing organisation as we prepare the organisation to enter the next phase of our strategic journey. In direct reference to the Corporate Vice President of SPO, you will serve as a trusted partner to leaders at all levels, helping navigate complex employment law and employee relations matters in a pragmatic and solution-oriented way. By translating legal requirements into clear guidance and robust processes, you will play a role in ensuring a compliant, attractive, and effective workplace. Location Denmark - Virum Experience 10-15 years Department Strategy, People & Organisation How you might spend your days As a Senior or Lead HR Legal partner, you’ll be: Advising leaders and SPO colleagues on Danish employment law, collective agreements, company policies and employee relations matters Managing and supporting complex HR legal cases, including disciplinary matters, dismissals, restructurings, sickness absence and workplace conflicts Translating legal requirements into clear, practical guidance, templates and processes that strengthen compliant and consistent people practices Partnering with internal stakeholders and, when relevant, external legal counsel to ensure timely and high-quality handling of HR legal matters Advising our Consultancy Management team on interpretation of contractual matters, including disputes involving consultants Who you are We care about who you are as a person. If you do not meet all the qualifications listed below, you are welcome to offer alternative experience that you think would be valuable in this role: A relevant master’s degree in law, HR or another field combined with solid HR legal experience 10-15 years of experience with Danish employment law, preferably from an HR legal, employee relations, legal or consultancy role Solid experience advising on individual employee cases, employment terms, dismissals, restructurings and HR policies Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal topics in a clear and pragmatic way Fluency in written and spoken Danish and English is required for this position to support effective compliance with local regulations and collaboration across NNE Life at NNE NNE is short for Novo Nordisk Engineering.
