SUMMARY:

This position fabricates and assembles a variety of prototype automotive interior properties designed and/or built at Prefix Corporation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and fabricate automotive interior soft trim
Sculpture foam components
Create patterns to be used to cut and trim, covering materials to fit seating and interior components
Leather wrap interior components
Measure and cut specified covering material
Operate sewing machine to seam and join various sections of covering material
Modify interior designs to meet customer specifications
Coordinate materials and colors to meet specifications
Maintain clean and safe work environment
Assist in the maintenance of department inventories
Have a firm understanding of interior trim techniques and procedures
Other duties as assigned.
