Experienced Pressure Washer Service Technician

Position Summary
High PSI is seeking an experienced Service Technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and industrial pressure washing equipment. This position plays a critical role in keeping customer equipment operating safely and efficiently through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs. This position pays between $27.00 and $32.00 per hour depending on experience.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical ability and experience working with small engines, pumps, electrical components, and industrial cleaning equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial pressure washers and pressure washing systems
- Perform routine maintenance including pump service, engine maintenance, hose replacement, and component inspections
- Repair gas, diesel, and electric pressure washers
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and fuel system issues
- Install and replace pumps, motors, burners, valves, and other system components
- Test equipment to verify proper operation and safety
- Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
- Order and track parts needed for repairs
- Provide occasional field service at customer locations when required
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and service protocols
Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of repairing hot and cold pressure washer experience required
- Experience repairing pressure washers, pumps, small engines, or industrial equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of gas, diesel, and electric motor systems
- Familiarity with electrical controls and wiring
- Ability to read service manuals and technical diagrams
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

Work Environment
This position primarily travels to customer locations for on-site equipment service.
Work may involve mechanical repairs, diagnostic testing, and equipment handling.
