Experienced Sheet Metal Welder

1. Perform TIG and/or MIG welding on sheet metal components and assemblies.
2. Weld materials ranging from 2 mm to 6 mm thickness.
3. Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
4. Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and welding symbols.
5. Fit, align, and tack components before final welding.
6. Control welding distortion and maintain dimensional accuracy.
7. Produce clean, consistent, and structurally sound welds.
8. Perform grinding, polishing, deburring, and other finishing work when required.
9. Inspect completed work for quality, appearance, dimensions, and defects.
10. Identify and correct welding or fitting issues during production.
11. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
12. Follow production schedules, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
