- lead the planning, coordination, and execution of test and verification activities throughout the entire project lifecycle
- ensure the completeness of all testing activities during bid and project phases, particularly for tests performed outside vehicle commissioning and train-level testing
- develop, consolidate, and maintain overall test strategies in alignment with customers and key project stakeholders
- create and manage test management plans, test matrices, and other project-related test documentation
- coordinate system tests, external testing activities, and collaborations with independent test institutes
- oversee the preparation and execution of test activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements and schedules
- review test plans, test specifications, and verification documents for quality, consistency, and completeness
- coordinate the provision of specialized equipment and testing infrastructure required for successful test execution
- monitor and report the status of all testing and First Article Inspection (FAI) activities within the project
- collaborate closely with Engineering, Homologation, Customer Care, Project Management, and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives
- support customer discussions and technical clarifications related to verification and validation activities
YOU...
- hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Railway Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
- bring several years of experience in test management, verification, validation, or commissioning of complex technical systems
- have experience in the rolling stock industry and a solid understanding of railway vehicle systems and operations
- possess knowledge of relevant railway standards and regulations such as TSI, EN 50215, EU No. 402/2013, or comparable industry standards
- are familiar with requirements management and project management tools such as DOORS, SAP, Primavera, or similar applications
- have strong project management skills, including planning, coordinating, and tracking technical work packages
- demonstrate excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a structured approach to work
- communicate effectively with customers, authorities, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
- are a collaborative team player with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- possess very good written and spoken German and English language skills
Salary starting at €4.500 gross per month based on 38.5 h/week with the express willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
