The Opportunity

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Experiential Designer to support the creation of compelling branded environments, customer experiences, and visual concepts that help differentiate Stratus in the marketplace. This role combines experiential design, creative visualization, environmental branding, and marketing design to support both sales pursuits and marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a strong visual thinker who can transform ideas into engaging client-facing concepts through a combination of traditional design skills, 3D visualization, and emerging AI-powered creative tools. This individual will leverage AI-generated imagery and conceptual designs as part of the creative process, while refining, manipulating, and enhancing those outputs to align with customer objectives, brand standards, and real-world implementation requirements.

This role collaborates closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Business Development teams to develop immersive concepts, presentations, and visual assets that bring customer opportunities to life.

Responsibilities

The Impact You’ll Make

Experiential Design & Concept Development

  • Develop experiential concepts and branded environment solutions for customer opportunities, presentations, and strategic pursuits.
  • Translate customer goals, brand standards, and project requirements into compelling visual representations.
  • Create mood boards, concept renderings, visualization packages, and design narratives that support sales and marketing efforts.
  • Develop interior and exterior branded environment concepts, including signage, wayfinding, environmental graphics, retail environments, experiential activations, and other customer-facing spaces.
  • Utilize AI-powered creative tools to accelerate ideation and concept development.
  • Generate, manipulate, refine, and enhance AI-created images and design concepts to meet customer expectations and project requirements.
  • Combine AI-generated assets with traditional design methods to create polished, presentation-ready deliverables.
  • Maintain an understanding of emerging design technologies, visualization tools, and AI platforms that improve creative workflows.

Marketing & Graphic Design Support

  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and broader Marketing team to support strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Create content marketing assets, social graphics, digital advertisements, landing page graphics, web visuals, and branded campaign materials.
  • Design physical displays, banners, environmental graphics, and supporting collateral for trade shows, events, and customer experiences.
  • Enhance sales presentations, executive presentations, and customer pitches through compelling visual storytelling.
  • Support the development of consistent visual staging principles and experiential brand standards across customer-facing materials.
  • Create graphics and visual communications for internal initiatives and People & Culture programs.
  • Support RFP and RFI responses through the creation of concept visuals, case study graphics, customer journey visualizations, and capability presentations.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team

Must Have

  • Strong visual design and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Ability to develop or translate ideas into compelling visual experiences and presentations.
  • Experience creating client-facing presentations with strong storytelling and professional design standards.
  • Working knowledge of exterior signage, interior branding, environmental graphics, or visual brand systems.
  • Ability to interpret architectural elevations, floor plans, and project documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work within brand guidelines.
  • Experience with 3D visualization, rendering, or spatial modeling.
  • Ability to adapt and refine AI-generated creative outputs into customer-ready solutions.

Technical Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop; After Effects experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong PowerPoint design capabilities.
  • Experience using AI-powered creative tools for image generation, concept ideation, visualization, and design enhancement.
  • Knowledge of 3D visualization and rendering software such as Rhino and Chaos V-Ray/Vantage.
  • Familiarity with CorelDRAW Graphics Suite is a plus.
  • Video editing and motion graphics experience preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in experiential marketing, trade show exhibits, retail environments, branded spaces, or environmental design.
  • Knowledge of materials, fabrication methods, and production considerations.
  • Experience presenting concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with animation, motion graphics, interactive experiences, or AR/VR visualization.

Pay Transparency

$65,000 - $80,000 Annually

This range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, education, location, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation based on the nature of the position, individual, department, and/or company performance.

Work Environment

This role operates in an office environment, with regular collaboration within and across teams. The position involves extended periods of sitting, computer use, and virtual communication and interaction. Physical requirements may include lifting up to 20 pounds and general movement within an office setting.
