Expert C++ Engineer (Medical devices)
We're looking for an Expert C++ Software Engineer to take a leading technical role in the development of software for medical devices.
- Lead the design and development of complex C++ applications.
- Define technical approaches and contribute to software architecture and system design.
- Guide component design, APIs, and integration with hardware and external systems.
- Drive performance optimization, code quality, and long-term maintainability.
- Support system integration, debugging, and technical problem-solving.
- Lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices.
- Ensure compliance with development processes, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity across the SDLC.
- 9+ years of professional experience with C++ software development.
- Strong expertise in software architecture and object-oriented design.
- Experience building high-performance, scalable applications.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and code review experience.
- Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring development teams.
- Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and AI-assisted development tools.
Nice to have:
- Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with standards such as ISO 13485.
- Experience with hardware integration, embedded systems, or device communication.
