Expert Cloud Automation Developer

We are looking for an Expert Cloud Automation Developer to join a global Cloud Services organization and support the evolution of an enterprise cloud platform through cloud automation, self-service capabilities, and platform engineering solutions.

This role focuses on designing, developing, and improving cloud products and services that enable application teams to consume Azure resources securely, efficiently, and in compliance with governance standards. The position combines cloud engineering, software development, automation, and DevOps practices to deliver reusable and scalable solutions in enterprise-scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud automation solutions for provisioning, configuration, governance, and lifecycle management of Azure resources.

• Build reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and automation workflows using Terraform.

• Develop full-stack self-service applications, APIs, and cloud services that simplify infrastructure consumption and operational activities.

• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for consistent deployment of infrastructure and application changes.

• Implement automated testing strategies, including functional, regression, and deployment testing.

• Integrate cloud services with platforms such as GitHub, ServiceNow, and identity management solutions.

• Embed security, governance, access management, policy enforcement, and audit capabilities into cloud solutions.

• Ensure operational readiness through monitoring, logging, alerting, documentation, and support materials.

• Provide technical guidance and promote best practices in platform engineering, automation, and cloud adoption.

• Identify and implement improvements that reduce manual effort, operational complexity, and delivery timelines.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in an international enterprise environment.

• Strong background in cloud engineering, software development, DevOps, and automation.

• Proven experience delivering production-ready, scalable, and maintainable solutions in Azure environments.

Must Have Skills

Expert Level

• Full-stack software development: Java / Spring, REST APIs, JavaScript / TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue

• API and platform integration (Azure, GitHub, ServiceNow, identity services), Automated testing and quality engineering.

Advanced Level

• Microsoft Azure and public cloud architecture.

• Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation (Terraform).

• CI/CD and DevOps practices (GitHub Actions or equivalent).

• Cloud security, identity, and governance.

• Scripting and operational automation (PowerShell or equivalent).

• Monitoring and production operations.

Working Knowledge

• Containers and Kubernetes (AKS).
