Important information:

This is a hybrid role based out of SAP Sao Leopoldo office, working in-office with the team 3 days per week.

What you'll build

In this role, you'll own the product vision end-to-end for enterprise software solutions that change how global companies operate. Your work will directly shape what gets built, how quickly it delivers value, and whether it genuinely solves customer problems.

You'll translate complex, often conflicting business requirements into a clear, prioritized product backlog — working side by side with customers, architects, and engineering teams to maintain alignment from sprint to release.

You'll set the bar for quality: defining acceptance criteria and Definition of Done, reviewing and approving delivered work, and ensuring governance, compliance, and documentation standards are upheld throughout every engagement.

You'll drive momentum in Agile delivery — leading ceremonies, managing backlog priorities and dependencies, and maintaining full transparency on progress with stakeholders at all levels.

You'll evaluate and shape AI-assisted products — translating Generative AI and agentic AI capabilities into meaningful backlog decisions and real customer value.

At the Expert level, you'll mentor and grow other Product Owners on the team, raising the collective standard of product thinking across Customer Industry Solutions.

What you bring

Mastery of Agile product ownership: backlog management, user story writing, acceptance criteria, and the judgment to prioritize competing demands — including the ability to evaluate and shape AI-assisted products.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills — from executive alignment to hands-on working sessions with customers and cross-functional delivery teams.
The analytical sharpness to translate ambiguous business needs into clear, actionable requirements, and the decisiveness to move forward without perfect information.
Technical fluency across modern software development practices, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and Generative AI — including a working understanding of BTP services, extension patterns, and integration capabilities — enough to engage credibly with architects and engineers and challenge assumptions.
Proven ability to leverage AI tools throughout the solution design lifecycle — from accelerating requirements elicitation and structuring stakeholder inputs, to generating and refining user stories with precision and consistency.
Functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA — including core business processes, and functional modules — with the ability to translate that domain depth into well-scoped, customer-relevant solutions.
A leadership mindset: the ability to influence, align, and elevate a team without relying on direct authority, and a track record of mentoring others.
Extensive experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, or a similar customer-facing role in Agile software development environments.
A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent demonstrated capability.
Fluent Portuguese, Professional English, and Professional Spanish.
