Expert Product Manager – Acxiom Real Identity Cloud-Native Applications

The Expert Product Manager for Acxiom Real Identity Cloud-Native Applications directs product strategy and execution for Acxiom’s identity capabilities deployed within leading cloud and data platforms, including Databricks, Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
This role is the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for a complex, multi-platform product domain. The Product Manager will define how Acxiom Real Identity capabilities are packaged, deployed, commercialized, and scaled as cloud-native applications—enabling clients to use Acxiom’s identity, data enrichment, collaboration, and activation capabilities within their own cloud environments.
The role serves as a senior resource across product, design, engineering, architecture, privacy, legal, marketing, sales, partnerships, and delivery. Success requires deep product leadership, strong cloud-platform expertise, and the ability to translate Acxiom’s identity assets into secure, privacy-conscious, commercially viable applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Domain Leadership

  • Serve as the DRI for Acxiom Real Identity cloud-native applications across Databricks, Snowflake, GCP, and AWS.
  • Define and execute a unified product strategy for delivering Acxiom identity capabilities within client-controlled cloud environments.
  • Establish the product vision, value proposition, roadmap, and investment priorities for the domain.
  • Ensure product strategy aligns with Acxiom’s broader Real Identity, data collaboration, activation, and platform modernization strategies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance for complex initiatives spanning multiple cloud platforms, products, and engineering teams.
  • Act as the domain expert for cloud-native identity products and contribute to organizational knowledge, standards, and best practices.

Product Development and Platform Execution

  • Translate client and market needs into cloud-native product requirements, use cases, and prioritized development plans.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture leaders to execute product plans across multiple cloud environments.
  • Drive roadmap alignment and interoperability across Databricks, Snowflake, GCP, and AWS implementations while accounting for platform-specific capabilities.
  • Define reusable capabilities and common product patterns that improve scalability, consistency, performance, and speed to market.
  • Guide the development of secure, privacy-conscious workflows for identity resolution, data enrichment, data collaboration, audience creation, measurement, and activation.
  • Ensure applications meet enterprise expectations for security, availability, observability, performance, usability, and supportability.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, from discovery and business case development through launch, adoption, optimization, and retirement.
  • Identify technical and operational dependencies and drive decisions across product, engineering, platform, and delivery teams.

Commercialization and Market Development

  • Build and manage domain-level business plans supporting revenue growth, client adoption, cost efficiency, and market competitiveness.
  • Contribute to pricing and licensing strategies for cloud-native applications and related Acxiom data and identity services.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and account teams on product positioning, go-to-market planning, pre-sales activities, and client engagement.
  • Develop product materials, demonstrations, and executive level presentations that clearly communicate technical and business value.
  • Support strategic client conversations and communicate effectively with business, data, privacy, and technical stakeholders.
  • Evaluate marketplace, private deployment, consumption-based, subscription, and enterprise licensing models.
  • Identify and evaluate build, buy, or partner opportunities that accelerate Acxiom’s cloud-native product strategy.
  • Develop relationships with relevant cloud and technology partners to identify joint product and go-to-market opportunities.
  • Identify barriers to adoption and coordinate improvements across product, engineering, sales, delivery, and support.

Governance and Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Acxiom privacy, legal, security, compliance, and data-governance teams to ensure requirements are consistently applied across cloud platforms.
  • Ensure product designs support appropriate consent, access controls, data minimization, auditability, and permitted-use requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional decisions involving data movement, client-controlled environments, intellectual property protection, and third-party platform requirements.
  • Provide clear executive communication regarding product strategy, investment needs, delivery risks, performance, and market opportunities.
  • Mentor product managers and contribute to the continued development of Acxiom’s product management practices.
  • Lead cross-team initiatives through influence, subject-matter expertise, and accountability.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have direct reports but may mentor less experienced associates in the role.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Eight or more years of product management or related experience, including ownership of complex products or multiple concurrent product tracks.
  • Demonstrated experience defining and executing strategy for enterprise software, SaaS, data platforms, or cloud-native products.
  • Working knowledge of cloud-native application models within Databricks, Snowflake, GCP, and/or AWS.
  • Experience translating technical platform capabilities into scalable, market-facing products.
  • Strong understanding of product management methodologies, product discovery, roadmap development, prioritization, and product lifecycle management.
  • Experience developing business cases and managing products against revenue, adoption, cost, and performance objectives.
  • Domain expertise in identity, marketing technology, advertising technology, marketing data products, data collaboration, or another information-intensive business.
  • Understanding of data privacy, security, governance, and compliance considerations for enterprise data products.
  • Experience partnering with engineering, architecture, privacy, legal, sales, marketing, partnerships, and delivery teams.
  • Business development, commercialization, or other market-facing experience.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to lead complex programs and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.

Preferred:

  • Advanced knowledge of Acxiom Real Identity, Acxiom data products, and Acxiom delivery and activation capabilities.
  • Product leadership experience with native applications, partner marketplaces, private deployments, or data-sharing applications in Databricks or Snowflake.
  • Experience developing data products or applications within Databricks, Snowflake, GCP or AWS.
  • Familiarity with identity resolution, identity graphs, data enrichment, clean rooms, data collaboration, audience activation, and measurement.
  • Experience protecting proprietary data, algorithms, and identity assets when deploying capabilities into client-controlled environments.
  • Experience working across multiple product lines, cloud platforms, or geographic markets.
  • Experience working with highly regulated, privacy-sensitive, or pseudonymous data.
