Expert Python Developer

In this role you will join a global systematic hedge fund to build and enhance trading infrastructure and automated strategies. You collaborate with research teams to architect and implement trading algorithms and expand the proprietary platform to support new products and exchanges. You balance rapid delivery with robust engineering, contributing to high-performance, production-grade Python systems. • Extend existing infrastructure to support new systematic strategies for rates and FX
• Collaborate with research teams to architect, implement, and analyze automated trading algorithms
• Build and engineer software infrastructure to support multiple lines of business
• Expand proprietary research platform to accommodate new exchanges, products, and functionality
• Lead engineering concepts from high-level requirements and translate them into concrete solutions
• Engage with databases (SQLAlchemy, SQL), Redis and Docker for production-grade systems
• Work with FIX protocol knowledge; participate in Git/GitLab deployment processes

• Expert in production-level Python with numpy, pandas, scipy, statsmodels
• Ability to derive engineering concepts from high-level requirements
• Experience with SQLAlchemy and SQL; proficient with Redis and Docker
• Knowledge of fixed income products and related terminology
• Experience handling time series of varying frequency, time zones, data gaps, and derivatives
• Git version control and GitLab deployment experience
• Experience with FIX is advantageous
