Expert Shipper

Day in the Life of an Expert Shipper

As an Expert Shipper (Material Handler II), you will be responsible for preparing shipments to our Export, UK, and EU special account customers. This is a step up from Material Handler I as you will use not only Oracle WMS but also Excel, Oracle Forms, and email communications to prepare these special orders.

As Fluke produces and sells a wide range of products you will come in contact with / or get experience on among other things Lithium Battery and Dual Use items, Finished Goods and Spare parts, Pallet sized calibrators, and spare part items of just a few millimeters.

Responsibilities

Responsible for picking, packing, and shipping orders with a variety of volumes and destinations within EU and export countries,
Maintaining an organized and safe working area,
Giving agreed value-added services to our customers,
Training new material handlers and assisting team leader in monitoring the progress of the training,
Liaison with team leader/troubleshooters about issues, feedback for the process improvements to meet targets,
Participating in internal process improvement events.
The job may require additional miscellaneous duties within the scope of the job.

Your Team

As an Expert Shipper in the warehouse team, you will be working in an international dynamic environment in the middle of the EMEA supply chain. You will work in close contact with the other warehouse groups; stock control, inbound and office.


Qualifications

Experience

-Intermediate vocational degree/MBO
-More than 2 years of experience as a shipper in a warehouse environment
-Experience working with warehouse management system software
-Fluent in English
-Being licensed and comfortable using warehousing machinery (such as stackers)

Personal Skills

-Being physically fit for working in a warehouse environment
-High accuracy
-Flexibility with overtime
