EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative and operations support in managing the installation's Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) program to insure contingency, mobility, and war readiness. Incumbent's assigned areas of responsibility focus on training, equipment, and supply.

Serves as a technical advisor. Manages and accounts for equipment assets and activities. Oversees and evaluates the EOD Flight's training program. Oversees flight EOD training needs outlined in the Career Field Education and Training Program (CFETP) and base support requirements in accordance with Air Force instructions/directives. Manages munitions activity. Ensures proper forecasting and accounting of ground demolition munitions requirements.
