Export Documentation Specialist

We are seeking an Export Documentation Specialist to join our team in the Delhi-NCR region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of export documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating smooth logistics operations. Key Responsibilities include: - Document Preparation: Create and verify essential export documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, air waybills, certificates of origin, and insurance certificates. - Compliance & Filings: Ensure timely filing of shipping bills and upload records on relevant portals like ICEGATE or E-Sanchit, adhering strictly to GST, Letter of Undertaking (LUT), DGFT, and customs regulations. - Letter of Credit (LC) Handling: Prepare and negotiate bank/LC documents accurately to prevent payment delays or discrepancies. - Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise effectively with Custom House Agents (CHAs), freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and internal teams in warehouse and finance. - Tracking & Reporting: Monitor shipments until they reach their final destination, maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports, and manage export incentives or realization follow-ups. Required Qualifications & Skills: - Education: A Bachelor's degree in any stream is required; a diploma or specialization in International Business, EXIM, or Supply Chain Management is preferred. - Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 10 years of hands-on experience in export-import documentation, logistics, or freight forwarding is essential. - Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Incoterms, HS codes, DGFT policies, and ERP systems (such as SAP) is necessary. - Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook, is required. - Soft Skills: The candidate must possess strong attention to detail, excellent time management abilities, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
