Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Providing personalised nursing care to our residents
• Administering medications and treatments as directed by Registered Nurses
• Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes to the care team
• Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Promoting a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure the best outcomes for our residents
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of each resident's Individual Care Plan.
• Recording and reporting information, including any changes in health and well-being, in accordance with Rembrandt Living's policies and procedures.
• Providing support to your colleagues and embracing a positive and cheerful approach to work, in our resident's home.

Requirements

About You

We are looking for Enrolled Nurses who can demonstrate:

• A positive approach to care and a genuine commitment to continuous learning and understanding of dementia care
• Current Enrolled Nurse registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
• Demonstrated experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• A commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
