Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Technicians and Maintenance professionals who may be interested in employment-based relocation or skilled migration opportunities to Australia.
We are inviting Expressions of Interest from qualified maintenance trades and technical professionals who may be suitable for potential future opportunities across Australia, particularly within industrial processing plants and mining operations.
This Expression of Interest is intended to build a talent pool for roles that may become available over the coming months and does not relate to a single, immediate vacancy.
The roles of Mechanical Technician / Maintenance professional involve supporting high-performance maintenance environments focused on plant reliability, equipment availability, and operational uptime. Responsibilities typically include both planned and reactive maintenance activities across fixed and rotating plant equipment within structured, safety-driven maintenance systems.
This EOI is intended for experienced maintenance professionals who meet baseline technical competency and Australian visa or employer-sponsored eligibility requirements, and who are open to long-term opportunities within Australia’s industrial and mining sectors.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and/or industrial equipment
Conduct fault-finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on rotating and static plant
Support shutdowns, breakdown response, and scheduled maintenance activities
Work with maintenance management systems (CMMS) for job tracking and reporting
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards
Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance procedures
Collaborate with engineers and operations teams to improve equipment reliability
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
Recognised Mechanical Trade / Technician qualification (essential)
3–5 years industrial, mining, or heavy maintenance experience
Experience with rotating and/or static equipment maintenance
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
Exposure to CMMS systems (SAP preferred)
Ability to work in safety-critical, high-performance environments
Basic ability to read technical drawings and maintenance documentation
Visa Documentation Required:
Valid passport
Skills assessment (TRA or equivalent, depending on country of origin)
Academic and trade certificates
English language test results (IELTS/PTE or equivalent)
