[Expression of Interest] PCB Layout Designer

Summary

The PCB Layout Designer will create multilayer PCB layouts for RF, microwave, and high-speed digital circuits, ensuring manufacturability and signal integrity. The role involves working with CAD tools like Altium or Cadence Allegro to translate schematics into production-ready designs.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design multilayer PCB layouts to controlled impedance and defined stack-up requirements for RF/microwave and high-speed digital circuits
  • Translate schematic and engineering requirements into manufacturable board layouts, working closely with design and process engineering teams
  • Define and validate stack-up configurations, trace routing, and impedance control in line with signal integrity requirements
  • Perform design rule checks (DRC) and design-for-manufacture (DFM) reviews prior to release
  • Work with fabrication and assembly partners to resolve layout-related manufacturability issues
  • Maintain layout libraries, footprints, and documentation standards

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on PCB layout experience, with demonstrated work on controlled impedance and multilayer stack-up designs
  • Proficiency with PCB CAD tools (Altium, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics, or equivalent)
  • Solid understanding of signal integrity principles and RF layout considerations
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline
