About us

As a New Zealand owned business founded in 2015, our Envelope crew know surveying, civil and structural engineering, land development and subdivision project management. We know that no two jobs are the same, so we don’t do ‘one size fits all’.

Everyone from the top down is part of a team which revels in fresh thinking and subscribes to a work hard, play hard philosophy. We know that real change happens when we work with our communities. With a diverse crew from all corners of the world and walks of life, we’re committed to crafting a future where we can make a difference. We are also proudly Toitū Carbon Reduce Organisation certified and passionate about continuing to grow on the sustainability journey that we are on.

We have offices in Christchurch, Wellington, Hawke’s Bay, Mount Maunganui, and Auckland.

What we offer

• Growth and development opportunities. We support each of our crew members to develop and work towards gaining their professional accreditations.
• Immediate access to 15 days of paid sick leave.
• We fund the costs for each of our crew to be enrolled in the Southern Cross Health Insurance - Wellbeing One - $500 excess plan (if they choose to) and provide an employer contribution of $100 to go towards undergoing an annual skin health check, as per our Wellbeing Policy.
  
• One paid volunteer day each year. Our crew members get involved in a range of volunteering activities from supporting wildlife conservation through Pest Free Management to cooking meals for families at the Ronald McDonald House.
• Paid birthday leave to empower our crew to celebrate their special days.
• Two half days of ‘Bolognese’ time. We encourage each of our crew members to set some time aside in their busy schedules to do what matters to them.
• Colourful office environments and a social crew (proof is in our Instagram). We are big on celebrating birthdays, individual e-nniversaries (anniversaries), recognition days that are meaningful to individuals within Envelope, and the list goes on!
