Position: Extended Leave Substitute with potential for Long Term Sub – Special Education PreK

Location: Lake Garda Elementary School

Reports to: Building Principal

Schedule: Will start immediately

Wage: $125/day

Benefits: After 61st day, medical, dental benefits, Paid sick time is in accordance with CT Paid Sick Leave, General

Statute 31-57r – 31-57w

Lake Garda Elementary School is looking for an extended leave substituted for a PreK classroom. An ideal candidate has strong classroom management and a passion for working with students. Lessons will be provided. You would have the ability to meet with your colleagues and team teachers on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or willingness to work with district to apply for a waiver

• Appropriate State of CT Teaching Certificate preferred
