External Draftsperson (CAD / BIM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain Architectural, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical (ACMV) drawings.
• Update terminal master layout plans and airport infrastructure drawings.
• Prepare, amend and maintain CAD, Civil 3D and Revit drawings/models.
• Update underground services drawings including drainage, utilities, fire hydrants, electrical and water services.
• Create, update and coordinate BIM models.
• Convert drawings between CAD, PDF, DWG, IFC and Navisworks formats.
• Conduct site verification and validate drawings against actual site conditions.
• Prepare floor area schedules, space layouts and technical documentation.
• Validate drawing and BIM submissions for completeness and compliance.
• Maintain drawing registers, document control records and progress reports.
• Coordinate with CAG officers, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows and drawing management.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings, maps and survey information.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in airport, infrastructure or engineering projects will be an advantage.
