External Freelance Lecturer for “Recht“ (in German) (m, f, d)
We are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Faculty Team in Berlin starting on September, who shares our vision of excellence in education and who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students and staff.
A lecture at UE University is designed for 3 SWS (equivalent to 2 hours and 15 minutes of teaching per week; our semester has 16 weeks).
The opportunity:
To become a freelance lecturer at a University of Applied sciences sharing your knowledge and passion with students from all over the world
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Conducting an introductory course in the field of law (in German) for our Bachelor's students, covering the basics of civil law (BGB), contract law (Vertragsrecht), property and tort law (Sachen-/Deliktsrecht), commercial and corporate law (Handels-/Gesellschaftsrecht), as well as labor law (Arbeitsrecht).
- Advising and supervising students
- Grading student work
- Relevant professional experience
- Teaching experience at universities
- German language
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Completed relevant university studies
- Place of living in or near Berlin/Germany
- Organizational skills
- An open-ended framework contract as an external, freelance lecturer
