External Warehouse Specialist

BorsodChem Zrt. a leading European manufacturer of MDI and TDI products and PVC powders, part of the Chinese Wanhua Group is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of External Warehouse Specialist

Location: Kazincbarcika or Budapest

Our new colleague will be responsible for Wanhua-BorsodChem's external warehouse (include some tank terminals) management activity.

Responsibilities of our future colleague:

• Explore and follow-up storage demands of S&OP departments,
• locate suitable external warehouses to fulfil storage demands,
• set up inventory management process,
• monitor and assess the performance of warehouse partners,
• management of warehouse issues (e.g heating, labelling, custom clearance etc.),
• observe and follow-up laws, provisions, directions related to logistics and warehouse activities,
• review warehouse costs & invoices; approve warehouse transfer orders,
• collaborate with logistics team and others to plan Europe local warehousing & logistics network, improve delivery accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements:

• MSc Degree and at least 3 years of experience in logistics or warehousing,
• logistics or warehousing knowledge in Europe,
• fluent Hungarian and English in both verbal and written form,
• excellent negotiation and communication skills: able to arrange business trips for warehouse negotiations and physical stock counts as required,
• analytical thinking,
• strong international mind-set and multi-cultural aspect.
