Extracurricular Internship: Industry 4.0, IIoT and Manufacturing Digitalization (f/m/div.)
Summary
Internship in Bosch’s Industry 4.0 team, developing IIoT proof-of-concepts, industrial automation systems, and machine-learning-based manufacturing solutions.
This position offers the opportunity be part of the Industry 4.0 team which works for the whole Home Confort Division with manufacturing plants all over the world. You will be part of a talented, motivated and cross-functional team that takes very seriously the continuous improvement of collaborators.
Your contribution to something big:
- Industrial IoT
- Develop and study new IIoT technologies (wearables, digital displays, etc) to support industrial applications;
- Develop new proof of concept projects with IIoT devices;
- Develop IIoT integration standards;
- Cooperation developing a standard IIoT platform;
- Industry 4.0 connectivity
- Create interfaces from industrial equipment to MES and IIoT platform;
- Develop and design of intelligent manufacturing systems based in machine learning;
- Machine Automation
- Development of automation control systems for manufacturing;
- Development of automation control interfaces for test equipment and manufacturing machines;
- Design and validate new technological solutions for factories around the world;
- Test and validate the solution in a Factory of the Future a laboratory assembly line
What distinguishes you:
- Academic profile in Engineering (Informatics, Electrical, Mechanical or Physics), Computer Science or similar;
- Undestanding of IIoT technologies and interfaces (MQTT, OPC-UA, Kafka, etc);
- Knowledge in Industrial Automation topics (Industrial networks, PLC programming, SCADA, etc);
- Fluent communication in English;
- Curiosity about new technological trends and a true team member with proactive and dynamic attitude;
- Willingness to work in a cross-site project team environment.
