F+B Cashier

Key Responsibilities

• Take food orders at our concessions window

• Accurately process guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and house charges

• Verify check totals and ensure all transactions are completed correctly

• Provide excellent guest service and address concerns in a professional manner

• Follow cash-handling and accounting guidelines for cash drawer and house bank management

• Balance and secure the house bank at the end of each shift

• Maintain compliance with Point of Sale (POS) procedures and resort policies

Qualifications

• Guest service experience required; hospitality or food & beverage experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic computer proficiency, including email and internet use

• Basic math skills required for cash handling, making change, and balancing drawers

• Ability to resolve guest concerns calmly and effectively

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with guests and understand menus

• Ability to operate POS systems and cashier equipment

• Professional appearance and positive attitude

• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods

• Position Type: Full-time, Seasonal

• Location: Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach - Conway, SC

• Schedule: Flexible availability required, including nights, weekends, and holidays
