As a Fabric+Pyspark+SQL Manager, you will lead the charge in transforming data into actionable insights within our Data and Analytics Engineering team. You will be at the forefront of client support, utilizing your skills in data engineering to drive innovation and efficiency. Within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network, you will play a pivotal role in advancing data modernization initiatives, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver impactful solutions.

As a Manager, you will inspire and develop your team, fostering a culture of growth and excellence. You will be accountable for strategic planning and mentoring junior staff, confirming project success and maintaining standards. Your role will involve analyzing complex problems, identifying opportunities, and embracing technology to enhance delivery. You will articulate our purpose and values, leading with integrity and authenticity.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional client service, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Your leadership will be instrumental in navigating ambiguity and cultivating meaningful client relationships, contributing to the firm's broader business strategies.

Responsibilities

- Leading data engineering projects and managing client expectations effectively
- Guiding teams in the strategic planning and execution of data modernization initiatives
- Utilizing technical proficiency in Apache Hadoop, Apache Airflow, and Databricks to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities
- Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake
- Developing and overseeing the deployment of data architecture and data modeling strategies
- Promoting the use of innovative technologies and leading practices across data engineering teams
- Validating data quality, security, and compliance within data frameworks
- Identifying opportunities for optimizing data infrastructure and improving data utilization
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff to develop their skills in data engineering and analytics

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8+ years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
- Demonstrating proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure Databricks
- Utilizing Apache Hadoop and Apache Airflow for data engineering projects
- Excelling in data architecture development and data integration strategies
- Managing data warehousing solutions with Snowflake and Databricks platforms
