Fabric Quality Inspector
Job Summary
The Fabric Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of fabric to ensure they meet company quality standards, customer specifications, and safety requirements before being added into inventory. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform final quality inspections on received fabric before its added to inventory.
- Verify product dimensions and quality with accuracy against specifications and work orders.
- Inspect for defects such as fabric flaws or structural weaknesses.
- Approve, reject, or flag items for rework based on inspection results.
- Document inspection results accurately in quality control reports.
- Communicate defects and quality concerns to production supervisors and relevant departments.
- Ensure products are clean, properly labeled, and ready for packaging.
- Maintain inspection tools and ensure adherence to workplace safety standards.
- Assist in identifying recurring quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
