The
Position…
With the recent growth in their business, they are
currently seeking an experienced, motivated and talented Boilermaker / Fabrication Leading Hand to join
the team in their engineering facility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plate
fabrication
- Sheet
metal fabrication
- Working with stainless
steel, aluminium, and mild steel products
- Body
building
- Setting
up and delegating projects
- Normal day shift hours - 10.5 hours Monday to Thursday; 6 hours Friday
- Normal night shift hours - 11 hours Monday to Thursday (with loading)
- Over
time when required
The
Ideal Candidate…
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Trade certificate relevant to
your trade
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
post apprenticeship
- Experience in Flux core and
MIG welding
- Experience in TIG (preferred,
but not essential)
- Skilled in plate work
fabrication
- Valid Australian C Class
drivers’ license
- Full Australian work rights
- Current High-Risk License –
Forklift/dogging (preferred, but not essential)
- National police clearance (or
willing to obtain)
- Strong commitment to safety
and quality
- Motivated, hard-working, and a
positive attitude
- Effective communication and
interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Intermediate
computer skills (preferred, but not essential)
