Fabrication - Mill Machinist
BlueLinx is looking for a Fabrication-Mill Machinist to assist in our distribution center. Our Material Handlers assist us with safely loading our trucks and unloading our railcars. Responsibilities:
Must have ability to operate rip saw, band saw, dario(scroll) saw and planer as well as ability to set up same
Ability to read a tape measure
Experience with wood scrolls and brackets
Check all outbound orders for accuracy and quality
Maintain equipment and notify Mill Manager of needed maintenance supplies
Assist to train others in resaw and planer operations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Prior experience in mill operations required.
