Fabrication Tech BE Leba

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Conducts spot welding
• Assist Fabrication Tech A when necessary
• Fabricates and assembles structural metal products
• Locates and marks bending and cutting lines
• Designs and constructs templates and fixtures
• Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications, using square ruler, and measuring tape
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow standard safety practices and regulations.
• Cross-training and knowledge share with peers.
• Other miscellaneous duties as required/assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to works independently and train others if required
• Must have understanding of balance and vibration principles.
• Demonstrates shop math skills
• Can interpret blueprints, specifications, production layouts, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, etc.
• Previous work-related experience and/or any vocational training, preferred
