Fabricator C
Summary
A first-shift manufacturing fabricator who operates CNC and mechanical press brakes and plasma punch equipment to produce metal parts per shop orders, performs routine maintenance on equipment, and troubleshoots tooling issues in a Pennsylvania manufacturing facility.
First Shift Fabricator B (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM)
To qualify as a Fabricator an individual must be able to perform the following:
- Maintain each Press according to maintenance procedures and diagnose and perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Possess the ability to set up and operate the CNC Press Brake, Mechanical Press Brake and the Whitney Plasma Punch
- Produce product as described in the shop order, set proper die clearance, proper punch grade and apply proper lubrication.
- Read shop product as described on the shop order.
- Detect when a tool needs to be serviced, set up a tool accordingly and determine and set slide and stripper settings.
- Requires ability to multitask efficiently as required and perform other duties as assigned
