Fabricator – Marine
Responsibilities
- Carry out fabrication, cutting, fitting, grinding, and assembly of marine structural components.
- Fabricate and repair supports, frames, platforms, brackets, handrails, and deck structures.
- Read and follow fabrication drawings, measurements, and job specifications.
- Use cutting, grinding, drilling, and fabrication tools safely.
- Coordinate with welders, fitters, and marine crew during fabrication activities.
- Follow PTW, hot work, housekeeping, and HSE requirements.
Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of welding experience in marine projects.
- Experience on vessels, barges, shipyards, ports, or marine facilities.
- Skilled in SMAW / GTAW / FCAW / MIG welding as applicable.
- Able to read basic fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
- Valid Welder Qualification Certificate / trade certificate preferred.
- Good knowledge of hot work safety and marine working conditions.
