Fabricator/Warehouse Associate - Brecksville

Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments, prepares items for shipment, and performs industrial hose assembly and fabrication tasks. This is a full-time position, M – F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

• Review and prioritize daily shipping orders when received.
• Pull all parts as indicated on the shipping orders, assemble and prepare components as necessary.
• Perform industrial hose assembly and fabrication, including cutting, crimping, and testing hoses to meet specifications.
• Inspect and test assembled hoses for quality assurance, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
• Properly label and package assembled hoses and other products for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks as necessary. Inspect containers and materials, reporting any damage or missing items.
• Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Determine the appropriate method of shipment.
• Affix shipping labels on packed boxes.
• Assemble cardboard containers or select pre-assembled containers.
• Insert items into containers and bind containers with appropriate tape.
• Unpack and examine incoming shipments, record damaged items, document shortages, and correspond with shippers to rectify discrepancies.
• Route items to the appropriate location.
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Operate a forklift to move, convey, or hoist shipments from the shipping and receiving platform.
