Facade Engineer

1.Responsible for the site supervision and management of all façade works for the Arena Project, including glazed curtain walls, aluminium cladding systems, GRC façades, structural steel supports, embedded items, connection brackets, framing systems, panel installation, and associated interface and finishing details. 2.Review and understand façade construction drawings, shop drawings, structural calculations, material specifications, and installation requirements. Carry out drawing reviews, technical briefings, site supervision, and coordination to resolve technical and construction-related issues. 3.Monitor the submission, approval, and implementation of façade-related technical documents, including shop drawings, calculation reports, material submittals, Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and Work Inspection Requests (WIRs). 4.Conduct site inspections of cast-in embedded items, post-installed anchors, structural steel connections, support brackets, and façade support systems to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications, including location, level, alignment, welding quality, bolted connections, and corrosion protection requirements. 5.Coordinate interface issues between façade works and other disciplines, including reinforced concrete structures, structural steel works, roof steel trusses, GRC elements, lighting systems, floor finishes, drainage systems, architectural finishes, and MEP services. 6.Follow up on the construction and approval of the Hero Waterfall Façade, GRC Façade systems, VMUs (Visual Mock-Up Units), façade mock-ups, and other special façade details. Facilitate design clarifications, RFI responses, and corrective actions to ensure timely issue resolution. 7.Responsible for façade quality control on site, coordinating and supporting inspections with the Consultant, PMC, and Client. Follow up and close out NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), SORs, comments, observations, and corrective actions in a timely manner. 8.Monitor façade material deliveries, fabrication quality, installation progress, and subcontractor performance to ensure that façade works are executed in accordance with project quality, safety, and programme requirements.

1.Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Façade Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. 2.Minimum 5 years of experience in façade engineering and construction. Experience in large-scale stadiums, airports, commercial developments, high-rise buildings, cultural and entertainment facilities, or complex architectural façade projects will be highly preferred. 3.Strong knowledge of façade systems, including glazed curtain walls, aluminium cladding systems, GRC façades, steel framing systems, aluminium profiles, embedded items, post-installed anchors, support brackets, sealants, waterproofing details, movement joints, and interface finishing works. 4.Familiarity with façade engineering processes, including shop drawing reviews, structural calculation reports, material submittals, mock-up approvals, site installation, testing, inspection, and handover procedures. 5.Ability to identify and resolve interface issues between façade systems and reinforced concrete structures, structural steel works, architectural finishes, and MEP services, with practical and site-oriented problem-solving capabilities. 6.Experience with international project management and quality control procedures is preferred. Familiarity with Aconex, RFIs, WIRs, MIRs, NCRs, SORs, Method Statements, ITPs, Shop Drawings, and Calculation Reports will be an advantage. 7.Strong ability to read and interpret English technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents, with effective communication skills to coordinate with Designers, Consultants, PMCs, Clients, and Façade Subcontractors. 8.Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with strong coordination and problem-solving skills. Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment involving multiple disciplines and complex construction interfaces.
