Faceless YouTube Video Editor — Long-Form, Illustrated Style (Ongoing)
Summary
Edit 8–10 minute faceless YouTube documentaries from voiceover, illustrated images, and a beat map, adding motion, sound, and captions to optimize retention and maintain brand consistency.
I run a growing portfolio of faceless YouTube channels — history, mystery, and curiosity documentaries. Scripts, voiceover, and illustrated art are produced in-house. I need a reliable editor to turn those raw assets into finished, retention-optimized long-form videos and grow with the channels over time.
What you'll do
Edit 8–10 minute long-form videos from a provided voiceover, a set of illustrated images, and a beat-by-beat edit map.
Cut for retention: tight pacing, zero dead air, momentum from the first 8 seconds.
Add subtle motion (pan / zoom / parallax), transitions, sound design, music, and captions.
Work to a locked visual style guide and keep every video on-brand and consistent.
Hold a steady cadence (starting ~2 videos/week) with clean, on-time delivery.
You're a fit if you
Have 2+ years editing video — ideally faceless / documentary-style YouTube (not talking-head).
Know After Effects + Premiere (or DaVinci Resolve) well; comfortable with motion graphics.
Can integrate illustrated / AI images and make static art feel alive.
Communicate clearly, take direction from a style guide, and turn work around fast.
Bonus: sound design, thumbnail support, or experience on a channel that scaled.
How it works
Start with ONE short paid test task (~60-second clip from real assets) — paid on delivery regardless of outcome.
Strong performers move to ongoing work at $500–$700/month, part-time, fully remote, with per-view bonuses and a path to lead editor as the channels grow.
