JOB DESCRIPTION:
Works with the Director of Facilities Management in the planning and coordination of the activities associated with Operations and Construction. Provides contract administration coordinating and working to satisfy state, federal and local regulatory requirements. Assists the division by regular internal liaison work with the Finance and Materials Management departments associated with Operations as well as with project financial reporting and material procurement. Externally the position maintains regular contact with vendors assisting with financial and scheduling issues. The position plays a critical role in the Hazardous Materials Program maintaining administrative management of vendors within the program and liaisons with external regulatory agencies. Additionally, the position also maintains administrative oversight of the division’s CMMS program. The position will be expected to occasionally work long or irregular hours, depending on projects in progress.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management preferred but other fields may be considered.
- Comparable experience and training may also be considered.
EXPERIENCE
- Five or more years’ experience in project development, management and coordination required, preferably in health care.
