Facilities Electrician
General Purpose of Position: To assist in maintaining all electrical components of the building and the surrounding properties. Would be expected to perform any maintenance outside of electrical (i.e., painting, cleaning, plumbing, etc.) that is required to keep up the daily operations of the building.

Maintain, install, and repair building electrical systems and equipment |

Install new conduits, wiring, switches, outlets, and electrical equipment to support changing facility operational needs |

3 |
Conduct routine checks on building infrastructure, emergency backup systems, and lighting controls |
|
4 |
Assist the broader facilities team with general campus maintenance to ensure all buildings remain fully functional |
|
5 |
Execute all tasks in strict compliance with OSHA standards and local building regulations |
|
6 |
Set up, monitor, and tear down temporary power distribution systems for special campus events and functions |
|
7 |
Provide on-call or standby support to troubleshoot immediate power issues |
