Facilities Executive / Manager

Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced Facilities Executive / Manager to oversee the maintenance and technical operations of a food production and cold-storage facility.
• The role requires a hands-on individual with strong experience in factory M&E, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, as well as the ability to lead a maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily maintenance activities and ensure smooth operation of the facility and equipment.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for refrigeration systems, factory M&E and production machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and implement repairs, modifications or improvement works where required.
• Coordinate servicing and repair works with contractors and equipment vendors.
• Manage maintenance schedules, service contracts, technical reports and related purchases.
• Oversee supporting equipment including forklifts and refrigerated vehicles.
• Support ISO 22000, HACCP, BizSAFE, fire safety and workplace safety requirements.
• Assist with facility upgrading and technical projects.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in facilities or maintenance operations.
• Hands-on experience in industrial/factory maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical, chiller and refrigeration systems.
• Experience with ammonia/Freon refrigeration or coldroom systems is preferred.
• Possess relevant BizSAFE certification.
• Able to understand technical drawings and schematics.
• Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work a 5.5-day work week and perform standby duties when required.
