Facility Executive - Technical
Qualification & Experience
Required (One of the following):
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in facility management or building operations, OR
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 year of relevant experience in facility management or building operations
Technical Competencies
The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in most, if not all, of the following areas:
Facility Engineering Infrastructure:
- Comprehensive knowledge of MEP systems including electrical distribution networks, HT/LT panels, transformers, UPS units, battery backup systems, and critical and comfort air conditioning systems
- Hands-on experience with fire safety infrastructure including fire alarm systems, fire detection systems, VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus), and fire suppression systems
- Working knowledge of ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems including CCTV surveillance, access control systems, water leak detection systems, and rodent repellent systems
Operations & Maintenance:
- Proven experience in managing operations and maintenance of low-side engineering infrastructure in commercial facilities
- Ability to conduct routine inspections, coordinate preventive maintenance, and respond to equipment failures
- Experience working with facility maintenance teams and external service vendors
Building Management Systems:
- Well-versed in the operation and monitoring of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Centralized Command Centers
- Ability to interpret BMS alarms, analyze system performance data, and coordinate appropriate responses
- Experience with remote monitoring and control of building systems
Critical Environment Management:
- Sound understanding of critical infrastructure environments including UPS rooms, battery rooms, IT server areas, and plant rooms
- Knowledge of environmental parameters, safety protocols, and access procedures for sensitive technical areas
- Awareness of best practices for maintaining critical power and cooling systems
Incident Management:
- Strong understanding of escalation processes and protocols for notifying stakeholders based on alarm categories and severity levels
- Ability to assess situations quickly and determine appropriate response actions
- Experience documenting incidents and preparing technical reports
Communication Skills
- Strong English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking
- Ability to identify and select appropriate standardized responses and modify them as needed using clear, grammatically correct English
- Capable of effectively communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficient in preparing shift handover reports, incident logs, and maintenance documentation

- Flexibility: Comfortable working 24×7 365-day rotating shift schedules, including during Indian holidays and festivals
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations staff, technical teams, vendors, and client stakeholders
- Reliability: Strong sense of responsibility and accountability in managing critical building systems
- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in following procedures, documenting activities, and maintaining accurate records
