Facilities Manager - Niseko

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance and operational condition of Hotel101 Niseko’s facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff. This role supervises maintenance activities, coordinates preventive and corrective works, and supports the hotel’s readiness for opening and ongoing operations. The Facilities Manager plays a key role in maintaining building standards, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Supervise daily facilities and maintenance operations, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs
• Ensure hotel facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained in safe and operational condition
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and respond promptly to maintenance issues and breakdowns
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and service providers for repairs, inspections, and servicing
• Monitor and maintain records for maintenance activities, warranties, and compliance
documentation
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities
• Support hotel opening preparations, including system testing and defect rectification
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and fire regulations and hotel policies
• Supervise and guide maintenance staff, ensuring work quality and adherence to standards
• Coordinate with operations, housekeeping, and guest services teams to minimize guest disruption
