Facilities Mechanic

Summary: Maintain facility systems and equipment with a concentration in electrical, HVAC and automated controls. Keeps building in clean and orderly condition and provides assistance to maintain building by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

• Maintains building
• Performs minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities
• Perform routine minor preventative maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment, chillers, process piping, vacuum, and compressed air systems.
• Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment
• Forklift usages as needed
• Schedules and remain in contact with janitorial staff
